OMG I was laughing so much in this episode, especially at the beginning when talking about the Minstrel Death Parties. That’s so freakin’ awesome. LOL. You guys are great. Keep podcasting!

Alright, just finished the podcast. Thanks for the mentions guys. And for the benefit of anybody who reads this, check out the LOTRO Combo blog. It not only features my own, but a bunch of other LOTRO related blogs. http://combo.mmeow.net/
Also wanted to say a Captain really comes into his own in groups, so I can definitely see how he’d seem boring soloing, but I think a lot of classes can suffer from that after 60 levels of soloing. Still, as you get to the later levels, there’s a lot of different options for a Captain skill-wise.

Not a problem. We’re glad you enjoyed the show!

Minstrel death parties are a riot! That mini rez deed is a pain (so much so it inspired a poem in fact haha) but if you can get one person to die once (jump off a cliff as a death by ‘misadventure’ does not incur armor repairs) you can just keep hitting the rez skill over and over as long as they don’t accept and so off of one death get all 15 updates for the day. Hope that helps! Happy rezzing

Ah ha! Well that’s excellent information! Merric’s loremaster will be happily relieved to know he only has to die once a day!
I’ll make sure my kinmates know too although the death party was pretty fun

I found your podcasts today and am enjoying them now. I’ve been playing Lotro for 1.5 years now and I’m playing on the European servers (yes, you have European listeners!).
About your `ridersofrohan.com’ comment: the week before Mirkwood was announced I did some research on registered domain names (yes, I’m a geek as well, probably pretty high on the geek scale). I found some interesting stuff. All domain names listed below are registered by Saul Zeantz/Tolkien Enterprises:
http://www.shadowsofangmar.com
http://www.minesofmoria.com
http://www.siegeofmirkwood.com
http://www.ridersofrohan.com
http://www.treasureofisengard.com
http://www.siegeofgondor.com
http://www.corsairsofumbar.com
http://www.firesofmordor.com
I didn’t really take it serious at first, until they announced Siege of Mirkwood a week after I found out they registered the domain name for it.
While it isn’t sure this is the future, it might give a clue what Turbine is up to for the coming years.
Further: I’m definitely looking forward to Mirkwood. I think the new area and the skirmishes will be great. Keep up the good work with your podcasts, I’ll certainly be listening more often in the future.

Wow, that is really cool! Thanks for the information, and I think you’re definitely on to something. Treasure of Isengard really has me interested!
