Listener Mail from Azz:
I’m listening to the interview with the LOTROHerald creator and you need to tell Merric he NEEDS to READ the books, not listen to them. In fact, you should put up a poll on the blog about it

We have done just that! Poll: Is listening to an audio book the same as “reading”?

The Quest Guides were really helpful. I did not know that you can get some special extras if you are in good standing with the Inn League for instance.

Really enjoyed this latest podcast! Goldenstar, you should definitely buy a house. I have my own little hobbit home, and I love it. I put some pumpkins out front! And yeah, I need to get that pumpkin mask. It took me 2 days to get my horse, by the way, and that was with average luck on the apples/geodes/pumpkins/scrolls. So it’s definitely do-able in two nights.

I agree. I totally need house. I think if I wanted one though I’m going to buy the deluxe version so I’m gonna save my coppers! Or maybe I’ll login and steal the couple coppers Merric has. I wish he wasn’t always so poor!

Deluxes are definitely nice. I’m saving up for one myself, selling stuff on the AH like a mad fiend. Figure out what you can craft that no one else seems to be selling — maybe you’ll make a few coppers at the AH. I’ve been selling piddly crafted items and have made a couple of gold so far.

I got my house from selling a 2nd age hunter spear that I got from a Lorien gift box. Deluxe houses are nice, but the upkeep is a bit steep. Good luck with it you two!

Um – over on the Snowbourne sever (EU/English) the horse race in Bree is up and running; but, weirdly, it’s not working in the Shire.
The race master (Carl Proudfoot) is there, but the race never starts. You can see the harvest mounts in the stable, but not the saddles. Bizarre.

On our server the horse race is only in Bree and while the race lady is there with the horses she does nothing. It was a point of confusion for many looking to race. The npc should probably not been there or have her tell you about bartering for the mount.

I was wrong! I just found the horse race track in the shire as well not far from Michel Delving. It’s not working but it is there. I would of taken a picture but I’m still drunk from the Inn Pub Crawl
