A Casual Stroll to Mordor #11: Legendary Items
Posted on 08. Nov, 2009 by Goldenstar in Episodes, Episodes from 2009
In episode 11 we have a special guest host, Azz from Wizzard of Azz!
Azz was nice enough to come on to help explain the Legendary Item system and answer your questions! We also make sure to discuss what changes we know to be coming with the upcoming expansion. From crafting to drops in Dar Nurgerablakalasfd (as Azz would say) we discuss the various ways to obtain items and how you use them.
We hope that the discussion is informative and helps clear at least some of the confusion that Legendary Items invoke. If you have further questions please feel free to send them in as we’d be happy to answer them for you.

I was specifically running out of gems. My current LI’s do not have any gems. I really didn’t have many to start with and I’ve only deconstructed 2 items so far.
I see you’ve made you’re guide! I’ll be sure to go read it. I definitely need to stock pile up my relics or my items will just be missing a component.

Same here, I have started getting higher relics due to deconstruction of lower ones, but I’m still out of gems. Thanks for the guide!

Truly Legendary Episode, guys =)
I can’t tell how much I enjoy listening to your Middle-Earth casual explorations in this delightful light-hearted down-to-earth style. It truely brings a smile to my face everytime
In regards to farming for Relics for your LIs, just decon your trash LIs at level 2 which will usually yield 3-5 Tier 1 Relics and often one or more Tier 2s (with a good chance of getting a “Critical Combine” with Tier 3 and 4 ones as well).
Deconning at level 1 will only yield 1 Relic.
A good efficient way is to go to Mekhem-bizru (just outside the East gate in Moria), slot the LIs and kill one or two of the nearby Orcs in that area. That will usually be enough to get a few LI to level 2. Then head back to Mekhem-bizru and decon the LIs at the Forge Master there. Rinse and repeat.
Again, thanks for this great blog and podcast. I’m very much looking forward for the next installment !
