I went AFK during this chat to help with the baby, but I have to say that I was actually stunned when I started seeing reports on Twitter about how slow and short it was. And when I started going through the chat log I had to check a couple of times to make sure I hadn't accidentally cut something out. I'm not sure what happened here, but something just didn't "click" I think; and the chat suffered because of it. Oh well, here's hoping that (the U.S.) Thanksgiving will give Turbine a little bit of a break and let them re-charge before we dive right into Mirkwood!

I had to keep checking to make sure I was still online, what with all the delays between questions! It was certainly slower than the last dev chat, but I'm still glad they took the time to do it.

I actually had a question about skill training costs and the amount of crafting materials needed for low level characters and crafters, but I forgot all about it until the chat was over. Oops!

I cannot help but feel that the devs were also in a monday mood (I was quite tired, just came home in time for the chat), and for them it was not monday evening, but they still had work to do. They felt a bit in a hurry, as if they had to be done with this soon. The "Instance guy" was not there, according to one dev (Rado... and something).

I think the Devs were not really in a chatty mood at the start of the week either. And only the European CMs could have addressed the common question why there is no MyLOTRO for the EU website.

Can't help, but I had this feeling this chat was only done because Codemasters CMs asked Turbine if they could squeeze in a chat that is not hours after midnight for the Europeans. Both devs and players had much more fun in the previous chat which also had more questions and the devs gave much more information. There were some really good questions where I wondered that they did not get asked, and no, I am not talking about my question. ;)
