Bullroarer Live with Volume 3, Book 1

Sapience announced today that Bullroarer is now live with Volume 3, Book 1!

Bullroarer, the LOTRO public test server, is now live with Volume III: Allies of the King, Book 1: Oath of The Rangers! Be the first to try the new Duo Skirmishes! You will need to download the Bullroarer client to access the server. (Click Here) to read the preliminary release notes.

The patch notes are pretty long, and although I haven’t had a chance to look through them yet I have to say I’m excited!  The only downside is that I still haven’t completed Volume 1 or 2 yet!  Ah well, hopefully with the release of Volume 1’s revamp with this patch I can at least accomplish finishing that storyline up.

Also, it’s good to note the following issues with Bullroarer:

Character Wipes
All character data has been removed from the Bullroarer database. If you had a character on Bullroarer it has been removed. You may copy over your existing character via the Character Copy Tool.

Character Copy
Currently players who have copied over the maximum limit of 5 characters will be unable to copy over any additional character. We hope to have this issue resolved within 24 hours.

I’ve gone ahead and attached the notes in .pdf format for anyone who can’t reach them at work.

There was an additional item released later by Sapience:

Missed one! (To be fair it was missing from the notes and the Systems Team caught it)

• Conjunction stuns will now have diminishing returns in PvMP. Please note that conjunction stuns are on a separate application counter than other crowd control effects in PvMP (thus will not affect duration of the conjunction stun). The diminishing returns application counter for conjunction stuns is not permanent – if you are not hit with a conjunction stun for 45 seconds, the application counter will reset.
  • Conjunction Stuns
    • First Application = 100% of the conjunction stun’s duration
    • Second Application = 75% of the conjunction stun’s duration
    • Third Application = 50% of the conjunction stun’s duration
    • Fourth Application = 25% of the conjunction stun’s duration
    • Fifth – Ninth Application = 1 second conjunction stun duration
    • After the Tenth Application, the conjunction stun will no longer affect the target.
  • This change only applies to stuns which can trigger fellowship or warband maneuvers.
