Outside LOTRO: LOTR Book Report

Outside LOTRO

I found this article on Wired.com and thought it was so cute! An 11 year-old boy had to read a fantasy book for a school book report and decided he’d make Bag End as a cake as well.

His class has to read a book a month, each from a difference genre. January came up Fantasy, and he dug into The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien (I was so proud). Then he decided that instead of a straight book report, he’d make Bilbo’s Hobbit hole, Bag End, as a cake.wired.com, Hobbit Cake Book Report, Feb 2010

I think the cake looks absolutely fantastic! I don’t know if I could bring myself to eat it either. I only hope my own little Baby Hobbit will be this creative when she’s this age.

That is adorable and incredibly creative! It looks fanatasic and if it tastes half as good as it looks, I’m sure his class loved it too ;)
