   I have been waiting for this roundtable. Been planning to play a captain for free to play in the fall. They should be in demand with the new scaling instances. Combat rez’s for all.

   It’ll be good. I can assure you that for my part at least.. There’s a lot to be said for and about the captain.

   Great! I have a question (sort of 2 questions)! I play a Captain as my main and have just reached LVL 40. Typically I play with my hubby who is a Warden tank and I am ‘every other role’.

   I feel kind of silly but I don’t have a good feel for which banner/herald to choose. Is it baed on your combat situation or who is in your group?

   I have a similar issue with Marks. When it is just two of us my husband likes to pull all the minions before the big bad guy. So I’ll put the return damage mark on the big bad guy in case he notices and joins the fray. Is that ineffecient? Should I use them whevever I can on whoever he is fighting?

   I admit I do not read too many forums and have tried to reinvent the Captain wheel myself, LOL. It is tough going sometimes.

   Thanks and keep up the great work. We really liked the Warden roundtable you did too.

   Hiya,

   i actually would like to know some of the stronger pros and cons between using a banner and a herald. I’ve recently reached level 50 with my captain, and it seems like i haven’t seen any other caps using a Herald in a loooong time. I’m still using mine for off-tanking and the extra damage, even in groups. Banners do look like they have a good benefit to them, but i don’t understand why someone would actively choose a banner, which can’t follow you around (do people really just plant a Hope Banner and then wait for their moral to fill up before every fight? that seems tedious to me) or help moderate the aggro when you’ve got slightly more than you can handle.

   My wife and i are a duo, and she plays a Hunter… i can’t even count how many times we’ve survived a pretty difficult fight because i fed my Herald to a monster or two while we took care of higher priority target.

   Is the Banner’s damage and stat buffs really that much better? am i just missing something?

   Question for the roundtable: When you are playing your captain in a small fellowship (2-3), which class(es) do you most prefer to fellow with, and why?

   I have an alt captain who is now level 54. Once I hit Moria, I pretty much stopped playing because I was having a heck of a time killing things. I feel like my best shot might have been to bore them to death rather than kill them.

   My main is a minstrel, so I’m not exactly expecting high dps, but the frustration really got me once I was in Moria and the mobs have better defense mitigation.

   You’ll probably cover this in general conversation anyway, but how do you folks play solo at levels 50+? I’d love to be able to max my cappy some day.

   (Side note, it is totally possible that I’m just a horrible captain.)
