A Casual Stroll to Mordor PodcastA Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast is hosted by married couple Merric and Goldenstar. We started playing Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO) during beta and both of us have lifetime subscriptions to the game.

We are casual players of LotRO and not likely to do any big time raiding anytime soon. This doesn’t mean we aren’t invested and deeply interested in the game! We simply don’t have the time available to play for hours like we did when we were younger.

The driving reason behind this podcast was that we thought it would be a good source of information and enjoyment for a wide variety of players.

As former World of WarCraft players and avid podcast listeners, we enjoyed quite a few podcasts dedicated to that particular game.

After searching for podcasts about LotRO we were surprised to see that although there were a some fine choices available, only several had episodes released in the past couple of months and even fewer were updated on a regular basis.

Feeling that we could assist in filling that void, we decided to create this show in the hopes of not only informing others about the game, but to educate ourselves in the process.
