The love of Tolkien’s work was a passion my father passed down to me when I was very young. I’ve been read the Hobbit as a bedtime story when little and received my first edition of the Lord of the Ring as a birthday present at 12. Fantastic literature never really left my life since then, as I later became a huge tabletop and live rpg fan, a pc gamer especially addicted to Sims, an amateur cook and costumier as well as a decoration passionate. So of course, seeing how LOTRO brings together so many of my hobbies, I could not resist Middle Earth’s call when I discovered what an amazing game it was!
I’ve been playing MMOs for a couple of years only and I’m pretty new to LOTRO. I’m not an end-game player, but fairly understand the idea, living with a WoW raider. However LOTRO is one of these games that makes the journey worth as much as the destination. My main interests in the game are decorating, roleplaying, questing and exploring the breathtaking views of Middle Earth.
I play Kiarane of the Rohirrim on Landroval; with her many Guides, she’s definitely the best shopper ever when I’m on a decoration rage. I also play a friendly hobbit cook and musician, Cassyan Lilywell.
Finally, I’m a law school student specialized in real estate development. Also, my first language is French, hence the weird choice of words or sentence construction in my posts. My apologies in advance, hehe.
Thank you for having me as a blogger on A Casual Stroll to Mordor, and I hope my posts will help you make a home of your house in LOTRO!
