There seems to be a bit of buzz going around the official LOTRO instances forums for the past several days around the Medallion of the North-men barter token.

Anyway, the point is, Turbine, if you want us to play your game, you have to let us… play the game. Make the instance rewards proportional to the time, make them fairly short (20-30 minutes for three mans), and make them all fun.

Chordian.net has updated their listing of reputation vendor listing to include the zone of Enedwaith.

I’m not saying all Barter items are a bad idea. I just hope Turbine begins to see what their game is turning into and uses that type of system much more sparingly in the future. It should only be used where no other option presents itself.

Our main topic this week is cheating in MMOs. The draw to do so, the consequences to the economy for such actions and the repercussions you’ll have to live with.
