In a report by the BBC, Codemasters has confirmed that “the personal details of thousands of people have been stolen…” which includes names, addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth. However, thankfully payment information was not compromised.

Following Codemaster’s change to the their hacked account policy and their own Character Undelete service, Turbine has announced a change to their Reimbursement Policy in regards to Compromised Accounts.

Last week Sincilbanks had posted on the Codemasters Community Blog about their new stance on restoring hacked accounts and today Codemasters has announced that The Hacked Account Restart Programme (or as I’m calling it, H.A.R.P.) has officially launched.
