Tonight at 9:00pm EST will be the launch of the Dunedain Radio station. Dunedain Radio will be a 24/7 streaming radio station with a wide selection of talk programs like LOTRO podcasts, fantasy music and special programs.

Installation of Echoes of the Dead has been completed on Codemasters servers. All worlds are now online and ready for use!

Codemasters has been able to test the hotfix launched by Turbine yesterday and have announced that Echoes of the Dead will launch on their system tomorrow!

Patching the live servers with Update 2 has completed an Echoes of the Dead is now live and available on all servers!

Codemasters has finished QA on the Echoes of the Dead content and it is cleared to launch tomorrow, March 22nd, 2011. Downtime is listed to last from 8am to 3pm GMT.

Posted today in the LOTRO European forums is news that the Free-to-Play launch for Codemasters is being delayed.

While today marks the official start of the LOTRO Free-to-Play Head Start, Turbine had the servers up last night for folks to hop on and explore even earlier.

I have been pondering how life will be slightly hectic in the lower levels for a bit on September 10th when Free to Play is launched and we welcome our new friends into our starting regions. This also made me think if there’s anything I should do now so I’m not that annoying 65 pestering [...]
