A Casual Stroll to Mordor

I’m very pleased to announce that the Fellowship has already made it to the Forsaken Inn in the Lone-lands!

A new announcement appeared in the LOTRO Store forum today that is one heck of a deal on the Lone-lands Quest Pack that I hope our free and premium friends can take advantage of!

Starting September 10th, players can experience LOTRO’s award-winning epic story for free! In eddition, Turbine will be adding new content with Volume III, Book 2, including the brand new Enedwaith region.

I was reading a post in the forums where the discussion revolved around the changes with Mirkwood that have turned previously group activities such as the Lone Land changes that removed the eliteness of some of the monsters so they are easier for an on-level person to solo them. There of course are also the changes to the Volume I: Book 2 epic quests allowing you to complete them solo.

Is Turbine turning their massive multi-player game into massive solo-player?
