J.R.R. Tolkien’s birthday is on January 3rd and it has been a tradition for Tolkien fans to raise a glass and toast him.

What we have today is a small house a Tolkien fanatic built to house all of his Tolkien collectibles!

Merric and I are having a blast playing “War in the North” and Middle-earth Network has offered a great opportunity to share our excitement!

Many LOTRO players have shown a great interest in the large and growing body of serious scholarship on J.R.R. Tolkien. The Mythopoeic Society is one of the oldest organizations dedicated to the study of the writings of Tolkien and the other members of the Inklings, such as C.S. Lewis and Charles Williams.

There currently is a huge undertaking in Minecraft to re-create Middle-earth in this giant sandbox of a game.

In Episode 72 we were asked by Krysfaerun of Elendilmir if there was a way for him to download our episode through the use of an RSS feed and a Podcatcher in order to download the podcasts directly to his iPod instead of synching with iTunes. It took me several months, but I have a definite answer for him!
