Taverncraft announced today that they “…have begun accepting pre-orders for the first stein in their ongoing collectible drinkware series based on the literary masterpieces The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.” The steins, expected to ship in September of 2010, are available in two versions: Epic and Legendary.

This it truly just jaw dropping beautiful to to me. Minas Tirith made completely out of matchsticks! The project that took nearly 3 full years was recently completed last month. Built by Patrick Acton the model is built out of 420,000 matchsticks and 24,000 small wooden blocks.
