This week’s poll asks: What is your favorite type of quest?

It wasn’t too long ago that Volume 3.1 (or Volume III Book 1) came out and surprise, surprise; I’ve already finished the Epic Storyline part.

Our main topic this week is the leveling zones. Based on our email from Steve last week asking for advice on where to level up. We used guides from LotroLife and Keen and Graev’s blog as well as user feedback from Aillas in our comments from episode 24.

Tomorrow starts the new and improved Yule Festival and there is a brand new dev diary released today talking about the goodies we will find. I plan to write up a full guide on the events to be found once I’ve experienced them all for you to help you get things done. Today we get to simply bounce around in excitement over what is to come!

Merric and I have been working with Brynulf to try and complete Volume One. Merric and I were stuck on the last part of book 7 and our friends Kymli and Smashey helped us finish that part. We started on Book 8 with Brynor. We were able do make it through chapter 5 with just the three of us (Brynulf is level 60 which helps a lot).

Merric and I were treated to completing two of the small fellowship dungeons in Eregion that we had several quests for.

This guide is to assist with the general quests that appear with each festival in LOTRO. These quests are not really tied with a particular festival and are there just as little extras to pick up goodies for your character.

So here I am, a newly returned player (although I may not be able to use the “newly” title for much longer) and a newly addicted craft/alt-aholic.  And I find myself leveling at what seems to me to be an astonishing rate.  Now this isn’t because I have a lot of time on my hands, [...]
