A Casual Stroll to Mordor

It’s not often at all that I’m inspired to write a general post spouting off about my opinion on something rather than providing data and information for a question I was asked however, today is one of those days.

Last week’s poll had some serious discussion in that it didn’t really include classes like loremasters who don’t fit in such clear roles. This week’s poll was suggested by Dreadhed to try to make up for this oversight.

Throughout MMOs player interaction has created stereotypes and euphemisms that transcend gaming and enter into the vocabulary of the general public. I started thinking about classes I don’t play and why. I typically stick with ranged/caster classes because I find that I tend to be quite good at them. But can I play melee well? I’m really not sure.
