NCM Fathom and Warner Bros. Home Video is hosting a special three night extended edition showing of all three of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings movies in select theaters across the United States next month.

Tomorrow the is the start of the Yule Festival running from December 14th, 2010 – January 11th, 2011. Like the Fall Festival, this event has had some major updates including a whole new area called Winter-home with its own quests and stories.

This month at Purdue University the puppet troupe, Théâtre Sans Fil., will be performing an adaptation of Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” with life-sized puppets.

These sorts of events are where you will find your preparation for the event to be more important. People generally are not going to actively participate in your event so it’s all on you to make the event entertaining and worth their time.
