With every patch comes some pitfalls, and 3.2 is no exception to that. That being the case, Sapience has updated the “Known Issues” thread for 3.2.

Today heralded the release of a Dev Diary by Jeff “MadeofLions” Libby focused on the story, tech and features of Volume 3, Book 2 which is set to release with the upcoming Free-to-Play launch on September 10th.

An undocumented fix in Book 1 may mean that those using Tactical Damage post level 43 may find themselves hitting a little less harder.

This week we share a bit about our adventures in Angmar killing some of the raid landscape beasts, Ferndur and Bogbereth. Goldenstar was lucky enough to get both trophies for her house ut was a little miffed (or perhaps disgusted) when she plopped down Ferndur’s head and discover flies buzzing around it. Ick!

An MMO is never complete and there are some things that just don’t get corrected in time for patch day. I typically find several complaints in forums and on twitter about things that Turbine knows about.

Turbine has released the Official Patch notes for Volume 3, Book 1 as well as let us know that this patch will be released on March 1st!

Today, Orion posted a much-anticipated (at least by me!) developer diary concerning his revisions of the rest of Volume 1 that will be released with Volume 3, Book 1. Using scenes from The Lord of the Rings such as “…Aragorn’s stand against the Nazgûl, Boromir’s stand against the Uruk-hai, Sam’s resolve both against Shelob and in Cirith Ungo” Orion wishes the players to have an “epic” journey and a story through LOTRO that they can experience.

In this episode of CStM, Goldenstar has been made an officer of her kin, The Council of the Secret Fire. She worked on her jewelcrafter and opened up skirmishes for her Burglar. Merric didn’t do much in game this week but he did find time to install LOTRO on his netbook.
